You entwine upon my trellis, twisting here and twisting there, living your life without a care

Slowly you creep, ever winding, still finding your way around

Round and around

You live in never-ending circles

The slowest merry-go-round in the world for bugs and ants alike

Grinding into woods and trees, digging deep with all your might

Your berries, like amethysts glow in the gleaming sun attracting birds like starlings to feast and to come

My emerald city thinks the aphid

My poem here is done
