The sore throat

My throat feels ripped by a jagged edged sword

The healing makes it tight

Drinking water that feels sandy

These are the symptoms of my plight

Hardly anyone can hear me

My voice is almost gone

This is just a sore throat

To have it feels so wrong

I wish that it would leave me

And never ever come back

But viruses do these things

Your body it attacks
