Be the peace on Earth

I am dark and I am light, we are all a mixture of these extremes

We are evil and we are good, is it worth denying this?

No one is perfect, how true is that?

One man’s poison is another man’s fat

We can’t all be the same

Trying to be, will drive us insane

What do you deem good and evil?

Does everyone agree?

I think you’ll find if you asked around only a third would see what you see

Maybe more, maybe less, maybe the same

But as I said before, striving for perfection will drive us insane

Do you agree with gay marriage?  How about the man down the road?

Do you agree there’s a tortuous hell, burning up bad souls?

Do you agree in polygamy or are you monogamously straying?

Do you beat the bad dog that is always baying?

There are many questions I want to ask, there’s so many different answers

Some of us want to be rich or ballerina dancers

As you can see, not all of us

Yet our perceptions we demand on others

Do we have that right to individually smother another into our way of thinking?

I think to do that would involve a lot of stinking!

Live in peace with your fellow man

Follow your own path

But don’t forget to allow him too, in his joys let him bath

No one knows what perfection is, until they’ve allowed all things, to live in harmony being themselves and without your tongues stings

With this poem I had hoped that it would give out a message to all people to allow individuality in others no matter whether you agree with it or not.  No one can understand what is truly good or truly bad, no one can know what perfection is, because we all have our own idea of perfect.

If we don’t like something, or someone, or a situation another person is in, is it really our concern?  If they are happy then leave them alone.  I know so many people who either bully or attack people they disagree with, you want peace on earth?  Be the peace on earth!

Question ?

Would a novel, written like a diary but without dates and sections and things work just as well as a novel?

Humans lost the plot

Ravens encircle around the sky bringing an atmosphere of fear to all who are near

My black wings fly with them, a dragon that is also feared

Tenderly I sail the sky with my black as coal wings

Gracefully I look down at all those beautiful things

I wonder what all the fuss is about

Me flying by today

Why are they shooting arrows upwards?

They’ll hurt me this way

Silly humans, they always fear of things that they do not know

If they took the time to learn

They’ll know I have places to go

I dream of a world where humans are taught

About things they don’t understand

So creatures like me, big or small

Can roam safe within this land

The world is shared with all but you

You think you own the lot

Well my dear humans I fear to say

You’ve quite lost the plot

Earth, unharmed, unemptied

The wind washes my face

The light blue sky is a reflection of natural beauty

The windswept sands, warm under foot and I hold my husband’s hand

Dreaming of a time where humans realize that appreciation and protection is all this earth needs

That and good deeds

I usher my little children into this world of paradise

I want them to feel the vibrancy of this world with all their senses

This they need

To feel at one with everything

We are not separate souls living within a separate soul

We are one soul

One planet with one life

Our life

There should be no separation

No difference

Only love

Respect

For each other and our world

That and good deeds

This is what we all need

Planet Earth

Unharmed

Unemptied

A bachelor for life?

I am walking through the twilight of my years, but I am not forgotten

Try not to shed those tears when in the ground I’m rotten

I cannot bare the thought of you, suffering alone

I need you to find someone, to call them your own

A bachelor for life, lives a life of woe

For when you are old and grey, who’ll help you, do you know?

I think not my dear, but now it’s my turn to go

Just take heed of what I’ve said I am in the know
