Fragile Sphere

The world is but a fragile sphere floating in the endless black sea of space
More fragile than the thinnest glass when it has been knocked out of place
Yet within this fragile sphere of ours, we are set spinning into space
With no inclination of how we float, we just do and in such grace
Every mortal life is precious
Every mortal life unique
Every mortal life is special and their life’s end is always bleak
Yet we keep on spinning, in the airless space
We keep on turning with such gentle grace
And we keep on believing
That we know nothing of what we are
Yet we keep on invading
Shouting truth to justify our war
And we sometimes die for nothing
But some they die in just
And some they keep on believing
Because they simply must
That there is meaning to all of this
This fragility in which we live
But no one has an answer
No one has one to give
So we keep on spinning, up there in the blackened space
We keep on hoping that our life will not be erased
And we keep on dreaming of things we do not understand
And we keep on searching, because that’s the way of man

Follow the path of the dove

I am floundering in a world that’s diverse
But the diversity is a mess
People hate each other even at their best
No one realises that they are the same
No one sees the similarities
It’s insane
It hurts my brain
I know religions and I study them all well
I follow none, on me; they do not cast their spell
But many are enchanted by their promises and their hopes
But I do not follow them; I see it worse than dope
And many do attack me, for my flimsy and secular ways
They think I don’t believe in god and that he creates
But I do, but I won’t name god and I won’t give him a sex
I do not know if they are male or female and I don’t know if our behaviour they even check
Do they care about our ways, whether we are good or if we’re bad?
Do they think there’s a code to life we must follow to be glad?
I don’t know and neither do you, so why do you follow texts?
Texts that are written by other men to control their nations via pretext
Oh I see the spell that you are under
I see it all too clear
But to tell you all, you won’t have it
At me you will snipe and jeer
Yet you will kill for your god and your ways
Though your texts they tell you don’t
You do so anyway because…?
You know not do you? You don’t!
So tell me why you’re so enchanted, when religion causes war?
When your own texts tell you not to and you do so because the law…
Why do you stand for murder when your beliefs are threatened so?
Why do you argue with your brother because he is different? Lo…
Can’t you see the mess you’re in? Can’t you see the spell?
Can’t you see it’s not just you, but other beliefs as well?
It is better not to label oneself, for the good of all mankind
It is better to live together in peace, be good and happy and kind
Keep away from the toxic faiths that turn you from other men
Turn away from those paths and then…
You will see such happy times, of peace and love and compassion
You will know then what heaven is, if you forget your violent passions
You cannot be a good spirit, if your heart is full of hate
You need to think another way, do not be afraid to cross that gate
I think you will see it is a blessed life, when you turn your hate into love
I think this is what you need to do to follow the path of the dove

Dreamer of the forever night

I am the dreamer of the forever night

I am the watcher of the everlasting pains of humanity

I resemble fear and yet I have none

I do not know what I’ve become

I cannot vanquish this loneliness

I cannot escape the joylessness

I can only watch you weep your tears

For hundreds and thousands perhaps millions of years

I hunger for your release

Dogs loyalty

To hold pure love you must hold a dog
A dog will love you more than you can ever know
Unconditionally, its life with you will flow
A friendship on tap
A blanket of warmth
A dog is there for you
The love, it will swarm
Show respect to your dog
And treat your dog well
It will help you through bad times, when things are just Hell
It will comfort you and keep your toes warm
Love your dog, it’s allegiance to you is sworn!

feelings 1

I am trapped in a loveless world

When will my chains start to unfurl?

I feel though I’m here for eternity

Lost within a hapless sea

Forget me

I dream of the day that I am forgotten
Many people vex me so
Most people treat me though I am rotten
But people deny the truth did you know?
I am troubled by unsettled lives
Not my own but theirs
They watch my every move, each second
Warning me to beware
If I speak a word of truth, that’s it
Everyone comes knocking on my door
But they deny I tell the truth, claim I lie some more
Whilst they are around I can’t have a proper life
Their supporters don’t know they cause me strife
But no matter how far away I go
There’s always someone treading on my toes
From distant places, deep in my past
Their abuse isn’t local, but it still lasts
Indirectly it may be so
But they have other people you know?
So that is why I dream today
Of a time where I am mislaid
Why can’t people forget me now?
I’ve been gone for years, yet they still scowl
How sad their little lives must be
If all they can do, is still think of me

Depths of blackness

In the depths of blackness I hear the cries of creatures drowning in their own sorrows of the thick dark night.

Souls wretched and souls bereaved, crying out to the night for love and release.

The fires of torture burn through their brains, in an agonizing heat wave how can they be saved?

Swimming through the whiny larvae of their new found home, sinking floating, choking on volcanic foam.

Tortured souls how can they be released?

How can they suffer anymore than this? For what is the purpose, isn’t this insane?

To see tortured victims burn up in the flames?

ethical vampire

I once knew a vampire who couldn’t accept the kill

Always sat back thoughtfully, making himself ill

He called himself an ethical vampire

That all others should aspire, to refrain from the killing of mortal men

Yet to him I lift the pen

And wrote to him this

To kill for your nourishment may not be bliss, but read my words carefully and listen to this

There are beasts in the world that kill like you do, and mortal men eat meat just as you used to

Therefore what’s the difference, between now and then?  Other than the blood you take’s fresher

Is it because you’ve seen its life end?

He replied after a while and a letter I received

It said, thank you my dear for clarifying this fact

You’ve made me less anxious in the killing act

Now away I will go, into the night

I will now have my first guiltless bite

I never heard from him again, but I have heard from another vampire friend that he is quite well

And growing strong, and has always said he’ll remember me in fond

Demons are demons

I cannot bare the sorrow anymore my love

You don’t know how you pain me so

You hurt me every time you go

For I’ve no idea of what you’re doing or where you go

I dream that you will change but deep inside I’ll always know

That you can’t or you won’t

But that’s my fault, for I love a demon

And so can I really blame you so?

If evil is in your nature, should I be the one to out your glow?

No

For I wouldn’t love you if I did, you are perfect as you are

But you scare me every time you’re away and every evil doing leaves a scar

My heart will forever break, but I hope it won’t shatter into powder someday

A little crack here and there will always make me thank that day

For things could be more worse than they already are

My heart is healing with its one thousandth scar

Demons are demons and that’s the way that they are

Dreams of sugar

Little dreams of sugar

Little dreams of cake

Christmas is coming

It’s time to celebrate
