Rainbow bridge to dream land

There is a whirlwind in my mind because I’ve been lost for so long
There is pain in my heart that is why there is sadness in my new song
I once danced in a palace of dragons
I once twirled in garments of silk
I once spoke regally to my people, without shame and without guilt
But I was taken from my world and into the world of men
My reality was shaken badly, I became broken, and will I mend?
There is no answer to my question
There is no answer to my calls
There is no hero who has found me
I miss the parties and the balls
I sit amongst humans thinking
That my reality is just a dream
That I fashioned another life to cope
With this realities yells and screams
But I hear the other realm whispering
Calling out my name
They say to me, dear Empress, you are not indeed insane
We will find you Empress, anyway we can
But for now you have to stay strong, in the world of man
And I whimper at their message and I cry an ocean of tears
They have not yet found me, though it’s been eighteen thousand years
How I wish the rainbow was a bridge
A bridge that I could cross
And leave this world for the other
And lay on my bed of moss
How I miss my dream world
How I know they miss me too
I hope to go back there someday
I hope that day is soon

Ravens up there

Ravens fly

Ravens high

Up there in the far blue sky

Diving here

Diving there

Flying circles in the air

Oh what comfort they give to me

Their bad reputation, it does deceive

For they’re just birds that fly on by

Whether black or blue like the sky

Peaches and Cream poem

Peaches and cream
What a dream
On a hot and summery day
The taste of heaven in a bowl
Be careful the angels don’t take it away!

Plum

Plum, plum you are fun
Purple and plump for me
Tastes as sweet as sugar
A delicate little treat

Pears

Pears ripe and ready
Green and golden treats
Very soft and tasty
What other fruit competes?

Raspberries

Raspberries, not the blowing kind
Are sweet, delicious and red
They are lovely in a jam
Or to spread on your toast and bread
Have a taste of this delight
Come on all, let’s have a bite!

porridge

Porridge thick and creamy, sometimes bumpy and hard, thick disgusting gruesome it taste like grayish lard! My mother cooks it always for breakfast lunch and dinner, surely eating this bowl of gloop should be made for every sinner!

Racing car mind

My mind is like a racing car, it takes me to familiar places or far

It speeds from thought to thought in ever careless turns

It spurts out random wisdom that I’ve in past have learned

My mind is unpredictable, my thoughts they rush and whizz

Sometimes I fear I’ll burn out, my brain will just fizz

I need to slow the pace a little, but I’ve tried and surely can’t

My mind is like a racing car, hear the crowds all chant

For my mind has many voices, that all shout at once at me

How I wish my mind would just give me one thought at a time please

My head feels like it’s been squeezed

Rainy memories

Darkness is wrapping itself around me today

It is getting stormy

The rain trickles down my window

The air is getting damp

My bones start creaking with the weather

My muscles start to cramp

But I look on, out that window

To see what weather does

I see grass waving at me in the wind

The atmosphere has a buzz

I feel so sleepy watching this

I dream of better days

But whilst I sit here watching it all

The fire is ablaze

I am wrapped up nice and warm

Watching this rainy weather

Then I sigh and think of you

And how we were together

A smile forms upon my face of memories almost forgotten

How soft your skin was in those days, almost like pure cotton

I fall asleep in my chair, with the memories I hold of you

And I dream of times that were from past, before your sudden adieu

You will live on in my heart; there you’ll always have a place

I remember fondly your sweet and smiling face

I will join you shortly dear

My life has been long but good

And together we’ll be in heaven

Just like lovers should

psychotic sleuth

The trouble I’ve gone to please you

The pain you’ve made inside

The burden you’ve made me carry

Yet you took it in your stride

To make things always bad for me

You always wanted that

It was to keep me docile and near you

You even made me fat

You couldn’t stand knowing

That I was getting free

You tried to destroy my confidence

You wouldn’t let me be

Now I’ve gone away from you

You still cry your battle cries

I don’t think you will be happy

Until the day I die

Yet you always said you loved me

But that couldn’t be further from the truth

These days although I’ve left you

You are quite the psychotic sleuth

I don’t know why you haunt me

Hound me and stick around

But I hope someday you’ll find help

So I’m no longer housebound
