Tina is dead, long live me

I have chosen to die

I have chosen to grow

I have chosen to be someone you don’t know

Someone that was hidden

Far from view

Someone who knows you, but you don’t know who

I am now new

Though I am almost old

I was someone who did as they were told

Now I am fresh and I am now wise

I have changed totally in everyone’s eyes

But I am not changed because of who I am with

I am changed because I feel less stiff

I feel more free

 To be more me

Not someone that you wanted me to be

I am not Tina, I am not there

I am someone else, someone you can’t scare

Tina is dead

Long live me

Tina is gone

Now I live free

Shut up

If what I say is a lie then please tell me why I can prove you wrong
With letters and minutes from social services, it will show evidence that you will see is strong!
So when you gather around and around, for evidence against me
Just take a look at what you do
Is it as strong as the evidence against V?
I think you will find that it is not, so save yourself some trouble
Keep away from my life and blog and realise that my life is left in rubbles
I am sick to the back teeth of knowing that you are gossiping about me
Sitting back with curses, whilst drinking your hot tea
The truth is, you were never there when I was young
Always going off into the sun
Never knowing that your dear mum, is not the same to me
So when you sit back and think bitter thoughts, just realise what you say
Just know that she can be different, to each person, every day
She isn’t who you think she is
But to you she is a gem
Just take a step back and leave me be, because you’re only fuelling them
You have no idea of the can of worms that you’ve opened by telling them those things
It’s more than just one person that comes back to me to sting
The network is vaster than you can ever know
It’s greater than you can ever see
So just keep away from gossiping, about me

Song of lost souls

I hear the echoes of the songs of the lost souls
Captivated I cannot move
I only listen
Their cries sound like music, though there’s pain
Indeed they are the cries of pain
It would drive some insane
But me, I remain
Silent, still, listening on to the tune that chills
Deep into my very soul
They are familiar to me, those singers
Those words that they sing
So familiar it stings
I try not to think “why” to such things

Tornado Mind

My life is like a tornado

It’s been turned upside down, inside out and it’s spinning round and round

Like my mind, it’s unstable, insecure and unsound

Nothing can quite help it – nothing can calm it down

I’m just whizzing around doing nothing, someone make it stop, and someone hold me down

I skip from this to that, my mind’s just going to rot

I skit from thing to thing and most things I’ve forgot

I dance from one thought to the next; I’m trying to catch my thoughts with broken nets

But get this – I can’t slow it down, most things I’ve forgotten before I can write them down

My thoughts move too fast for me, it’s like they’re scared of me, they flee

And I just sit wondering… what the fuck just happened to me?

The Wolf’s Rose

The night is chilled and the air is icy

Winter nips at your cheeks and nose

Wandering far into the forest, you are lost my little Rose

Simplicity doesn’t exist where complexity plays

A daring youth like you amaze me in all ways

Hark! Hear the sound of the midnight wolves

Playing a melody to attract lost fools

You follow their tune, blissfully ignorant of the dangers they bestow

And onwards you follow, and onwards you go

Through the nocturnal world you flounder

From tree to tree you flow

Further into the orchestra, into something you don’t know

Into the jaws of hunger

Into the mists of time

Into the raging beasts that are ready to dine

And now you’re here, cold in my arms

A little Rose you’ve been

And I have plucked you from the world and you’ll never again be seen

Not by mortal eyes no how and you’ll stay forever with me

No mortal shall hear your cries when you beg me for release

And now you’ve joined the shadow world

A place that’s made from fear

And you will sup upon mortal babes and breed with me more fear

And nothing shall stop your pain, when you can’t kill anymore

You’ll always give into the hunger and eat their flesh that’s raw

And I’ll be here for you always

My precious little one

To remind you of who it was, that hid you from the sun

Oh my little Rose, look at what you’ve become!

shrug the bad feelings away

Nothing is more comforting than a hug

To help you shrug the bad feelings of the day away

Sometimes it is good to let others know, the way that you feel today

the afraid poet

My poems are simple and short

I do my best with them, please don’t snort

The truth is, I’m better than what you see

The truth is I am afraid to do my best and only allow you to see

a limited collection from me

Success is scary for me

The leak

It’s raining outside and wet

But I am inside and wet too

The roof is leaking

What shall I do?

The moon is fat tonight

The moon is fat and shines so bright in the middle of the night.

It only happens once a month, but its still a thrill to see,  it holds much to fear because of mystery

The first time that I saw you

The first time that I saw you
You took my heart away
You restored my faith in humanity when I was learning to hate
It’s been so long since I felt this way
I thought it could never be
But the first time I saw your face you was the one for me!
You broke away my shadows of all the years I’ve suffered alone
You took my hand and guided me, to a place I never roamed.
