The Wolf’s Rose

The night is chilled and the air is icy

Winter nips at your cheeks and nose

Wandering far into the forest, you are lost my little Rose

Simplicity doesn’t exist where complexity plays

A daring youth like you amaze me in all ways

Hark! Hear the sound of the midnight wolves

Playing a melody to attract lost fools

You follow their tune, blissfully ignorant of the dangers they bestow

And onwards you follow, and onwards you go

Through the nocturnal world you flounder

From tree to tree you flow

Further into the orchestra, into something you don’t know

Into the jaws of hunger

Into the mists of time

Into the raging beasts that are ready to dine

And now you’re here, cold in my arms

A little Rose you’ve been

And I have plucked you from the world and you’ll never again be seen

Not by mortal eyes no how and you’ll stay forever with me

No mortal shall hear your cries when you beg me for release

And now you’ve joined the shadow world

A place that’s made from fear

And you will sup upon mortal babes and breed with me more fear

And nothing shall stop your pain, when you can’t kill anymore

You’ll always give into the hunger and eat their flesh that’s raw

And I’ll be here for you always

My precious little one

To remind you of who it was, that hid you from the sun

Oh my little Rose, look at what you’ve become!

Grapes

Grapes on the grapevine
Ready to dine, giving you wine on the table
A favorite treat for you to eat
If drinking wine you’re not able!

hear my vox

moonbeam magic

I’m whispering with the wind

Secrets of untold imaginings

Of prayers unheard

Of silver rings

I’m dazed within, this mind of mine

But my fantasies are diamond mines

Sweet whispers help me write

I hear them in the wind

Of frog princes and fairy rings

I see such life in those little drops

Of rain water that fall from rooftops

I have a habit that is true

That my dreams will include you

You’re a knight upon a fiery steed

Doing good and knightly deeds

Or sometimes you’re a giant man

Dress for dining, so very grand

These things are precious to my soul

It makes me feel so very whole

I need my dreams wrapped in a box

But I like you to hear my vox

My many worlds aren’t secret

They are quite well known

But not to you or Joe blogs

Just the creatures that they home

I have been invited

To play with them quite free

In my lands of mysteries

Flows a golden stream

I would stay forever

In the shadows of my mind

But to leave you here without telling

It would be so unkind

So I come back to consciousness

The place of my birth

To see around me strangers

In my alien hearth

I don’t belong here truly

In my bubble I should stay

But even people of reality

Needs time to sit and play

So I come back to visit

Sharing with you my dreams

Telling you about the magic of a land of extremes

or maybe it won’t be that way?

Someday I’ll win the lottery

Someday I’ll be rich

Someday I’ll be a millionaire

Then I’ll be a bitch

To my boss and enemies

I’ll show them what it’s like

To live life to the fullest

And do just what I like

Or maybe it won’t be that way?

Maybe I’ll sit back and behave

Drinking wine and on fine food dine

Cruising on soft waves

Someday I’ll win the lottery

Then everything will be alright

For money solves most things

Am I not right?

Or maybe it won’t be that way?

Maybe something will still be missing?

Will he love me truly, the new guy I will be kissing?

Let’s sit back and think this over

Maybe it’s not lucky rolling in clover?

Or maybe it won’t be that way?

Let’s put these tickets on and see if I’ll win today…
